Costumes...

I have a creative mind. For the past few years I enjoyed picking out cute costumes that I liked and dressed up my little children like I was changing costumes on a Build-A-Bear. It was great! This year I picked out a cute family theme of Three Blind Mice. JB agreed to be a mouse, but Jay politely refused and said he wanted to be "something scary". I told him that I thought mice were VERY scary! He didn't agree. Then began his brainstorm (With each idea his voice was more excited than the next)...Lion! Tiger! (JB said not an option.) Spiderman! Dragon! Dinosaur! etc. When asked "What do you want to be for Halloween?", dinosaur was most prevalent over the past couple of weeks. So I went on a mission and found a precious dinosaur costume that I LOVED-Mullins Square (I am ALL about making a costume, but if is super cute and cheap...I'll bend). Mullins Square is my favorite children's costume brand so far-cute and reasonable-Scarecrow and Pea-pod below.

He's going to be baseball player...go figure. Who knew baseball players were scary?! Basketball players maybe (Dennis Rodman!). Oh well. After all, what fun is Halloween if you don't get to pick out what YOU want to be. I'm thrilled to see his creative mind at work!

2006-Jay was a horse and we went to Boo at the Zoo (note real horse in the background).

2007-Jay was a cute little scarecrow. You can't see it in this picture, but there is a little black crow on the top of his hat. LOVE that detail! Last year-Below is Cowboy Jay with Princess Annalisse. I ADORE this picture! Betsy is on the scene as a little pea-pod.
