We had lots of fun both places. It was like The Country Mouse and The City Mouse. Jay loved watching Justin and the Blackwell boys shoot skeet as much as he loved riding the Light Rail to the Bobcats game. Betsy loved running wild in Grandma's expansive yard as much as she liked Bart's condo complex's trash chute (It's the simple things!)!
Here's that cute outfit again. Gosh I love tights.
Bart did a really great job as host. When we walked in we were SO impressed with how beautifully the table was set! He was hosting this year so Grandpa could come up and see his place. Bart and Grandpa were really close. He was Grandpa's favorite. They shared the same birthday and went on many trips together. We really missed that Grandpa was not there with us. He would have LOVED it! (Especially Saturday! I think it was in the back of all our minds when the Gamecocks won that NO ONE would have been as excited as Grandpa!!!)
Thanks to Justin and Billy for the beautiful and YUMMY fried turkey!
Mom brought a tree for Bart's place and passed out brown paper bags trimmed with leaves after dinner. In the bags were ornaments for us all to place on his tree. SUCH a magazine moment! (The bows were in my bag!)

What a cute idea! Way to go Bart, the table looks beautiful. How is he so together when I still can't get my table to look like that?
