Don't you just love how toddlers blurt out anything and everything they are thinking-loudly-in very close proximity to the people they are talking about? These are just a few of the questions I had today at the store. No wonder I keep forgetting items and having to back-track.
(Lady with a face that has a naturally grumpy look.)
Jay: "Why is that lady mad?"
Me: "I'm not sure."
Jay: "Maybe her little girl is being bad."
(Teen girl with freckles.)
Jay: "That girl has a LOT of freckles."
Me: "Isn't she pretty. I really like her freckles."
Jay: "I want to hold her." (Random!)
(Lady with grey hair.)
Jay: "She must be a granny."
Me: "You think so? What makes you say that?"
Jay: "She looks really old."
