It's the Little Things...

As a mother, you always wonder if you are doing the right thing. After having children, Justin and I decided that I would go back to work and our kids would attend nursery. God has blessed me with a wonderful daycare that has wonderful teachers. I have been thrilled with the daycare experience...the children learn so many things by being so active all day, they interact with children their own age, they receive detailed "milestone" tests every other month so we know they are progressing normally, and they are LOVED by their teachers.

Betsy moved to a new class this week and this morning a little pink bag was on her cubby. I opened it when I got to the car. Brenda (her teacher from her old class who was especially attached to Betsy, as was Betsy to her ) had given her the following.

I can't express how much this meant to me for her to buy this with her own money and give it to Betsy. I have told my kid's teachers in the past and if there are any daycare workers out there that read my blog...Although not a job of glory or high pay, to parents your job is invaluable. Thank you.
